Overlay,

Overlay: A new layer of asphalt paved over an existing surface, typically 1.5–2 inches. It renews the pavement at a fraction of reconstruction cost — when the structure below is still sound.
Why it matters on your job: Our estimate visit is mostly about whether your surface has earned an overlay or needs the honest rebuild.
