Built for everyone,
maintained that way.

Our commitment
Everyone should be able to get a paving estimate — including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or who simply need higher contrast and calmer motion. California Asphalt Professionals is committed to keeping asphaltpavingfresno.com accessible, and we treat accessibility as maintenance, not a one-time checkbox: it gets reviewed as the site grows.
The standard we target
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the ADA for effective website access and by California’s Unruh Act case law. In practice that means semantic headings and landmarks, alt text on meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, keyboard operability, visible focus, and forms with real labels and error messages.
The accessibility widget
Every page carries an accessibility toolbar (the round button at the lower left, powered by ADA Web Pro). It provides one-click profiles for motor, visual, cognitive and senior needs, plus individual controls: text size, line height, letter spacing, contrast and saturation modes, link highlighting, a reading guide and reading mask, motion-stop, a dyslexia-friendly typeface, and keyboard-focused navigation aids.
Your settings are remembered on your device between visits. If you prefer not to see the widget, its panel includes a “Hide this button” control — and a “Show accessibility tools” link stays available in the page footer to bring it back anytime.
Built-in page features
Beyond the widget, the site itself includes a skip-to-content link, a logical heading structure on every page, descriptive link text, breadcrumb navigation, form fields with labels and honest error messages, and phone numbers rendered as tap-to-call links. The chat assistant and the exit popup both close with the Escape key and are keyboard-reachable.
Known limitations
Honesty section: some job-site photographs in the gallery predate this website and may carry generic alt text; third-party embeds (such as the anti-spam check) render inside their providers’ own frames, whose internals we don’t control. Where we find a barrier we can fix, we fix it in maintenance.
Feedback & alternative access
If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, tell us — that report genuinely helps: call (559) 442-4105 (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm) or use the contact form. And nothing on this website is required to do business with us: every estimate, question and scheduling step can be handled entirely by phone, by a person.
Formal complaints
We’d rather fix a barrier than litigate one, so please give us the chance first. For formal options, the U.S. Department of Justice accepts ADA complaints at ada.gov, and California residents may contact the California Civil Rights Department.
