Nick has the best crack fill in the industry, stays sealed throughout winter and summer! Easy to work with and with top integrity not common in today’s world, I will not call anyone else except California Asphalt Professionals.

Super satisfied with the job. It was done in a timely manner, good price, very professional. Would recommend — if you need your parking lot done, go with this company.
Dean V. Google Review
I was fortunate to meet Nick when his team was putting a new top on a driveway next to my business. I asked him for a quote and have been happy with the process all the way through having my lot redone. It’s nice working with someone who remembers what the service part of service means.

Why CAP

Three things our
competitors can’t match.

Thirty-six years in the Valley.

Family-operated since 1990. We know the Central Valley climate, the way the ground moves with irrigation, and what holds up in our heat. That experience goes into every estimate.

Everything in-house, nothing subcontracted.

Same crew from the estimate to the final roll. We stock our own materials, run our own equipment, and stand behind every job with a family name attached to it.

One crew. Straight numbers.

No subcontractors. Same crew today, same crew next year. Free estimates, no upsells, no surprise add-ons — the price we quote is the price you pay.

From the shop

Same family. Same crew.
Same standards.

California Asphalt Professionals has been family-operated in Fresno since 1990. The crew on your property today is the same crew you can call back in five years. No revolving door, no subcontracted strangers — just the people who’ve been doing this work, in this Valley, for a generation.

That’s how we’re still in business after thirty-six years: we do the work right the first time, we stand behind it, and we answer the phone when you call.

Frequently asked

Questions we hear
before every job.

Are estimates free?

Yes — always. We come to the property, look at the work, and write a flat-rate quote broken out line by line. No obligation, no follow-up sales calls if you decide not to go forward.

How long does asphalt last?

A properly-installed and maintained asphalt surface lasts 20–25 years in the Central Valley. The key is the maintenance schedule — first sealcoat at year 1–2, crack repair at year 3–5, slurry seal at year 7–10. We’ll set you up with the right schedule when we finish.

How long does a job take?

A typical residential driveway is one to two days of work, weather permitting. Commercial lots and private roads take longer — we’ll give you a realistic schedule with the estimate, including curing time before traffic can drive on the new surface.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — California C32 contractor license #760658, bonded, and fully insured (general liability + workers’ comp). We can email you a certificate of insurance before the job starts — just ask.

Do you do residential and commercial?

Both. From a single-car driveway to a full shopping-center repave, we run the same crew on the same standards. We also work with HOAs, mobile-home parks, and apartment complexes for ongoing maintenance contracts.

How often does asphalt need sealcoating?

A well-installed asphalt surface should get its first sealcoat about 12 months after paving, then every 3–5 years after that. The exact schedule depends on traffic and Valley sun exposure — we’ll set the right schedule for your specific lot when we finish the paving job.
