Flex-A-Fill® is a hot-applied polymer modified asphalt sealant used to seal cracks in asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete pavements. This product is supplied in 30 pound boxes, which when melted and properly applied forms an adhesive and flexible pavement sealant. Flex-A-Fill resists cracking in the winter and is highly resistant to tracking or pick-up by vehicle tires at warm summer temperatures. Ideally used on highway, street, airfield and parking lot pavements to seal pavement cracks.
Flex-A-Fill is highly recommended for use in asphalt pavement prior to sealcoating, slurry, overlay or chip sealing. At application temperature, Flex-AFill is a low viscosity, self-leveling product that easily penetrates narrow cracks. The sealants have a fast melt time and can be heated in small direct fired mini melters or oil-jacketed double-boiler type melters.
